Wabash Gas Storage Project Receives Responses

In response to the application of Wabash Gas Storage, the Environmental Project Manager for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission wrote a series of questions which raised safety issues. If properly answered, the project will move forward. However, issues related to the potential of Radon concentrations and its effect on the environment and the potential to damage water containment facilities and other risks may inhibit development of the project. In all likelihood, the project will move forward. The Chamber of Commerce and the local communities are salivating at the potential for jobs and taxes.
